Our guide explains that the screws need to tweak to your system work more efficiently.

Windows Performance

Each activated process, each application is a burden…. on the system – in many cases, even after uninstalling. The reason is the residue of a system that grows with time and unnecessary ballast becomes more inert. This is compounded by default mechanisms that unnecessarily consume valuable resources. Most turns out to be reloaded Vista. However, this can be remedied. Even Microsoft offers a valuable tool with which you can send your system into an effective diet. And with a slim system, will you be in it worked better and more enjoyable.

Local Area Network and Internet

A user who wants to raise the efficiency of operating the network probably think first of all to change the operator, increasing bandwidth (eg, gigabit instead of 100 Mbit) or wireless LAN converted to an Ethernet cable. However, a high potential for optimization lies also in the software.

Convenience in Windows

Overclocking is more than just increasing the efficiency of hardware and software. The optimal use of the PC as important, it appears faster access to resources, and a comfortable and ergonomic work environment. Even the most efficient system does not make up for losses incurred by the waste of time to search for a specific task, the correct file or shortcut. Many useful configuration changes you can make using Microsoft’s Tweak UI tool from the PowerToys package (available at go.pcworld.pl/a38d5). More offers to optimize the system can be found in the following advice.

Although Windows XP environment certainly does not replace the commercial recording software, however, have a suitable for the elementary tasks of burning CD discs. With easy to use these operations can be performed even by very experienced users. Recording data
Before you start recording, you must configure the drive. Double-click My Computer, then select the right mouse button the recorder. , See Devices with Removable Storage, and is listed under the name CD-RW (or similar). Select Properties from the pop-up menu. Go to the Recording tab. Make sure the box is checked the Enable CD recording on this drive. In the list box just below the point to the partition where the files will be cached to save on disc. It should give about 700 MB of free space. Then select the desired recording speed in the lower list box. Windows XP does not offer the possibility to verify whether the data were properly recorded on the media. For this reason it is recommended to use lower speed (for up to 20x) – especially when you write your valuable data resources. At the end, uncheck the Automatically eject the CD after writing. In this way you will not have to re-tuck the drive tray to see that all the required files are on disc.

Preparing the build

If you want to burn any files to disc and / or folders, open Windows Explorer. The fastest access to the recording function so provide. typical tasks appear in the left pane. Also, at this stage, you can set up new folders on the disc. Use the Create New Folder button. When you enter your destination items, confirm the Copy button. Balloon in the right lower corner of the screen will notify you to place files in the cache record. Do not click it until the system cope with the copying. Otherwise, you stop copying, and items that had not managed to find in the buffer will not be burned to CD. If you want the items recorded on the disc are automatically deleted from the disk, instead of the Copy command to the selected items by clicking Move the selected items. This method, however, involves some risk, because in case of mistaken record, you will lose access to recorded resources.
